Hi All If anyone has any issues with bees and want them collected from your place, feel free to PM me and we will do our best to come and get them out for you, no charge. Please do not kill them, the world bee population is declining rapidly due to poisons, we will give them a good home .. Something a little unique that you might encounter is a very small bee .. these are usually stingless and will not hurt you at all, and if they are not destroying anything, you can leave them alone and watch their activities, their honey is absolutely delicious , if you have a hive and decide to keep it, I will point you to some material on line that will help you .. I myself have never seen a Bee among all the numerous Insect Life that is present. Thank you for your preservation's of a very important element of nature.
We often get invaded at night here with the larger dark Bees. I am allergic to Bees and my Wife insisted they do not sting, until one stung her on her thumb! hehe We do have a small Native Bee Hive here (Maluay, Zamboanguita) in a Bamboo Post which Papa has ear marked for replacement in the near future if you would like to come and collect before the post is replaced?
Compliments of the neighbour (A Phil-Am Lady) who decided to cage us in when she bought the lot that now surrounds Papa's 100m2 turning us into an island in the middle of her Lot. Have to love how the locals here deal with Land Deals. She employed two young guys to surround us in Bamboo and Barb Wire so we could not walk on her land. Really got up her nose, when instead of being pissed off at her, I politely thanked her for making our house much more secure now, saving me a lot of money I was about (NOT) to spend! (I hear she hates Aussies) LOL It has been two years now, and almost all of the Bamboo is rotted off at ground level, so money (NOT) well spent on her behalf... *snorrrk*
