I am not building anything but visited this store very recently (it is new anyway). It is located past the airport heading towards Sibulan, on the right hand side of the National Highway. I have previous DIY experience so was able to see it has a good stock of most things needed for DIY and all products are well labelled with prices. I do not know enough about other building suppliers locally to be able to compare prices but this store seems a step up from other local ones I wandered into for a general look around.

Have you been to CitiHardware by any chance? If so; how does it compare? I quiet like the set up there, wide aisles, easy shopping, great range of stuff especially regards to lighting and electrical.

I often have to buy from Rejoice, but what miffs me is the way they deal with you there, start at the front, end up out the back, then amidst half a dozen other customers with items moving all over the place, the four times I have bought something there, I have discovered when I got home, items were missing which I was clearly charged for on my Receipt. I could not be bothered going 25KM's back to argue it with them as I doubt they would believe me anyways, and I wonder how often this happens with 4 out of 4 stuff ups, so anyone buying there, double check your items as they go into your bag, and then again before you leave. Just to be sure...

When shopping at Rejoice i would just give one of the shop assistance a list of what i wanted and then stand back let then run around finding the items, they would return with any questions or samples of different items, then again standing back just watch as they put things through the till and pack everything, i would then pay and most times let tem carry the things to the car, never a problem.

Missing items is the only problem I have ever experienced there, very helpful Staff as you mentioned, but even if I need to make it obvious the next time I go there, I will be checking my items in the bag to my Receipt before leaving. I think my items ended up in someone else's bag as each time I have been there it has been very VERY busy and items have been placed everywhere during the total up. I will try and be much more observant next time around.

The new Triumph is still not fully stocked last time I visited....and have never purchased anything there...yet. Prices are a bit higher I think. Hardly any customers but plenty of staff to follow you around...as if I need that most of the time. We purchase from YY for large quantities for our project. Dislike going to Rejoice.....completely unorganized mess and takes a long time to compile everything. Citi hardware and Robinson's builders are a hit or miss....maybe have something you want/need.....maybe not.

In addition to Triumph Home Depot (Sibulan), Citi Hardware (Perdices St. Brgy. Calindagan), Dgte YY Trading (Pinili cor. Real St., Brgy. Poblacion 3), and Rejoice Hardware (Cervantes St., Brgy Poblacion 3),

one could also try to look up construction materials or hardware at Blas Elnar & Co. (Locsin St. cor. Ma. Cristina St., Brgy. Poblacion 3), Duplamilco (South National Highway, Brgy. Mangnao), Golden Rule Store (Ma. Cristina St., Brgy. Poblacion 3), Negros Building Supplies Depot (South National Highway, Brgy. Tabuc-Tubig), Robinson's Builders Main (Perdices St., Brgy. Calindagan), Robinson's Builders II (North National Highways, Brgy. Daro) and Uymatiao Trading Corp. (Perdices St. cor. Locsin St., Brgy. Poblacion 4).

Yeah I hate that too. I told the staff member 3 times to let me roam on my own and finally had to run around the corner to get him out of my sight as I like to peruse and think without having the gentle reminder that they want me to spend my money and get out.

What a bright idea... could have thought of this before! I will do this when I go shopping for materials to repair our old family home. Thank you for sharing, Mr. Michael!
