Health & Wellness Anyone know a good Dermatology Doctor?

My wife has some white spots on her skin, not sure if it is a "sun allergy", some kind of fungus, or too much sneaking that d*mn skin whitener crap LOL. Whatever it is, it is making her nervous so time to see a doctor about it I suppose. Would rather go straight to a good one than hop around referral to referral.

 

From childhood experience, if it is tinea fungal infection (alap-ap in Bisaya), the topical prescription then and now was a keratolytic (peeling agent) called salicylic acid. Nowadays, there are also capsules, creams, gels, lotions, oral solutions, shampoos, soaps or tablets available for the treatment.

You're most welcome! By "good dermatologist," I presumed you were looking for a doctor who is recognized as specialist among his peers.

Sorry, I have not experienced the services of the local dermatology practitioners here who merely attained training for certain non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

In any case, I believe even a family medicine practitioner is competent for your wife's problem because it is at early stage and could not be that serious a health condition.

 

I have used Dr. Munoz for 8 years. She is located across fron Cang’s on the highway on the 2nd floor. Note: parking is a challenge, better to park at Cang’s basement and proceed with caution crossing the highway!
