    Hey guys,

I think this topic may have been posted before but anyways I am re-relaying the information.

If anyone has any extra (not being used/no longer needed) pieces of body armor , whether it be plates or the entire vests, specifically LEVEL II or LEVEL III stabproof/bulletproof vests of kevlar armor, etc. Anything that you think could be used by the local law enforcement I would encourage you to send me a msg. I am working with several individuals of the local PNP office and they have all expressed to me their frustration with the government not being able to supply or dedicate any type of funding towards protecting the officers with even bullet proof vests. I can work out the logistics as to how it gets here (in terms of cargo, shipping, etc) but need to know if anyone has anything to donate.

    Thanks!

I have extra plates. But I sure af ain't giving them to the PNP or Philippine government. They are dangerous enough as they are and rarely ever get killed on their execution raids.

I also have my doubts on your integrity. Is this like the time you were working as a bouncer at a small restobar (Sizzlers) making 100p per night and telling me you were actively serving US special forces in the Philippines? (And later showing me a library card saying it was your CAC card after I called you on your very obvious BS). I would highly suggest anyone with an IBA to not give it to you.

Also, now that I see you calling it a "bullet proof vest" it is very obvious you have absolutely no time in service as you previously claimed.

Dustin - You are entitled to your opinion - I am just trying to help. All items donated would have a proper chain of custody and be registered /recorded as government property as the mayor expressed his concern of officers taking the "donations" home with them for personal use and wants anything to remain at the main office. If you don't have anything to donate, any complaints or concerns, a simple "Not interested" and keeping your mouth closed instead of attempting to "bash" others would have sufficed. I do thank you for your concern though and understand why you would not want to donate your own personal plates. Thanks :shifty:

Plates are high value items (and in most cases still property of the USG). Most people don't have plates that they weren't signed for or didn't pay a very high price for (around $500 for front and back plates). The reason I openly question your integrity is because 1. ensuring USG property remains USG property is something all soldiers, employees and contractors are should to do (perhaps a person sending you their "extra" plates didn't realize that they are signed for them and responsible for their return....and guess what happens if the USG finds out the PNP have their stolen equipment), and 2. because I don't think that you will actually give them to the police/mayor and they will end up on ebay and members here should know about it.

If you are willing to attempt to steal something as monetarily insignificant as the valor that service members from around the world have earned I don't doubt for a second that you would be willing to steal something as valuable as SAPI plates. Also, knowing how much trouble you have found yourself in in the past (alcohol, disrespecting women, fights, accidents, medical, financial, and "other") I have trouble believing you have any sort of positive, or even existing, relationship with the mayor or the PNP. I think the members here should know who they are sending $500+ worth of equipment to.

Of course, after your attempted stolen valor BS you lost absolutely any and all respect and trust from me. So maybe I'm just a little biased (but I suspect my first impression of you was right judging from the other actions I know you have done in the past).

If it makes you feel better I will rephrase the question as to "Any Civilian grade / Personal Use Armor purchased solely for personal private use" (aside from any government issued equipment). If there is anyone with excess private use / Civilian use equipment that does not need it and wish to donate, it would be appreciated. Thanks. -End of Statements.
