You can try upscale Courtyard Apartments on the beach in Bacong.

 

I understand you want stay in Dumaguete city.Fully booked in your period, when I check hotel apartments, guess your right with chinese new year. Maybe you can try Villa Pricilla in Daro, just see the apartment first, huge difference in standard on the rooms. I would choose number 1,2 or 3, if vacant

 

AirBnB has about 100 of them in that price range. I wonder if anyone ever uses them. I ask because I am thinking of putting my apartment on there if it works (but no it won't be available immediately. I'm just wondering if you tried that AirBnB)

I have used AirBNB to rent places in a few countries more than once as a customer. I know that adds there seem to get good responses. My wife was a real estate agent in Cebu and the people she worked for recommended them. I used to know a couple people in Cebu that used them to rent the condos they owned for them and they had a good experience.
