Regular salt is Sodium Chloride but I need Potassium Chloride, powder or salt crystals. Not sure it is possible to find here. Has anyone seen it locally?
Could not find anything locally online but did find a supplier online in Metro Manila by the looks; Potassium Chloride Powder, 8 Oz (227 G) Now Foods [ Nutrition & Food Supplement ] Metro Manila, Philippines -- habs shop
Hi Brian! Been a while LOL....But just to make sure - you do know that KCl is dangerous, in fact very dangerous....unless you really need it and need it bad - according to a real doctor - and that may be hard to find where you are. I do have a lot of experience with it.....working at an Australian university.....It is the chemical we inject to stop animal hearts after we completed our experiments...(approved by Animal Ethics committees)..And it does that very well......Their hearts stop almost immediately. Is that what you really need - or we can discuss Beyond Blue? Happy to help mate!!
Perhaps he is using it as a water softener? If so, maybe some of the water supply companies can direct him?
I saw that too but could not find a way to order it. This is exactly what I was looking for MORTON® SALT SUBSTITUTE - Morton Salt
Potassium Chloride is also given in IVs in hospitals across the planet every day. Maybe a good example would be the saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away' meaning eat for good health - but too much cyanide (found in apples) will send you to the morgue.
I notice this one still contains some sodium chloride, but uses potassium chloride to make it lighter. I know it is not the same as what I used to see in the US as salt substitute but I didn't know if it would be of use to you. It's on Lazada. I'm sure you checked them but just trying to make sure you know about it.
