    Moving into place with no refrigerator (first week of March) if anybody has one they wish to sale?

    We will arrange transport.

    New ones at Robinson's Dumaguete. We bought a Samsung there.

    I would sure be reluctant to buy a used "Fujidenzo" for 14K when I can walk into SM Appliances in City Mall and buy a brand new Digital Inverter, frost free, Samsung or LG or similar for just a couple thousand more?

    Now if it was 4K and not 14K I could picture it. But for deals like that it is great we have this site to come on line and let your friends know you are looking.

    This post is exactly why I avoid dealing with other "expats"

    I deleted my previous Post but to hell with it. This is why we are here, to share knowledge and be helpful to one another, so I will repost the posting I deleted earlier;

    We paid a tad over 11,000php for our Fujidenzo Fridge-Freezer (Silver) from Imperial who were cheaper than Robinson's. Looking online for a Single Door Black Fujidenzo Refrigerator yields similar results price wise, so I believe Dave was not out of line for his Post which was informative.

    I have often seen items posted on the Dumaguete Buy & Sell Pages asking more than New Price after double checking with Google, including a Sofa chair I almost bought recently from one of those pages, until I saw they were selling for less at Mandaue Foam. It pays to double check and compare...

    That's really too bad, because if you keep buying things on Facebook instead of making friends and networking then you will continue to pay outrageous prices instead of the "friend price" when we try to help each other out. (Unless you had an interest in seeing that particular fridge get sold?)

    I find the kind of post you made to be exactly why I avoid dealing with certain expats. I wasn't going to say it until you started this but you seem to think expats cannot "Google" just like you did.

    I'm not saying it is wrong to share the results of your search. I'm saying that people ask on forums like this to exchange information and reviews that we cannot find by asking Google. That way we help each other out, or so it seems to me.

    all I did was show the requestor that there were places out there that he could search... did not condone nor try to sell this item.. just tried to be helpful. Now you could do the same instead of "sniping" on those of us that responded with suggestions. If that is the response to some who try to help then less will attempt in the future...
