Maybe because the thread is titled "Valencia Thai Restaurant"
And the OP says, "Has anyone tried the Thai restaurant above the 7-11 in Valencia?"

So has anyone tried any of their “Thai” dishes? I heard (but not confirmed) the owner sent his partner to Thailand to learn Thai cooking. Indian chicken marsala sounds like a nice alternative.

I tried spice in valencia today and it was very nice, tried the shrimp vindaloo with rice and naan bread. Prob the nicest curry ive had from a non indian resto.
The menu is good and varied from indian, thai, filipino and a few others.

Me and the wife tried Spice the other day; the food came out very quick. The wife had a pasta dish with shrimp...loaded with shrimp. I had an Indian curry dish, usually don't pay attention when a menu item says it is spicy as most are not close to spicy; this one brought the heat. Very impressed with the service and quality/quantity of the dishes.

We don't find many reasons to go to Valencia but any future trips this is the place we will grab some food.

Arlyn, you need to choose a username that is not a business name. Let me know what you want it to be and I can change it.

I'm looking too, stopped by to look at the menu and only saw 4 items, 3 of which were varying heats of curry for the same dish ??? So only two thai items ??

How about it Spice, is it really thai ???

If you stopped by you could have answered your own question by trying it out.

She never claimed it to be a thai resto. I'm changing the title of this thread. It is misleading and obviously confusing people.

Sorry Dustin, don't get testy <grin>... We will give it a try, almost went today on the way to the lot, but couldn't pass up the humba at Estrella's. I'm sure it's good and i did realize that it wasn't only Thai, just wished there was more, most restaurants of all types in the area are pretty good. We'll be there a lot more next year and always on the prowl for good food..... I am dying for a good pad mee kao, or tom kha gai, or pra ram.
