Yes, but who for? I mean I was told by LTO to come get it in Feb and when I did they gave me an appointment to come back . . . . . August 30, so are you saying the people who go in today get their plastic today and those of us who have been waiting 11 months still have to wait? Maybe I forgot to pay the "Express Lane fee"

 

Decided to get PP Driver's Licence as staying now for another 2 months. Using my UK licence to obtain same, got all photocopying / Drug testing done prior to starting LTO waiting game. Lady at door tried to send me away as my Alien card is coming sometime....used the info from this Forum that Visa info was OK without current Alien Card.......started at 12 midday out of LTO with Licence 1500 hrs! Cost very close to 1000 Peso.

Photocopies of what exactly? You parked at LTO and walked down to the doctors office, told them you needed whatever for a license and took what they gave you to LTO?

 

Did my license renewal this week:
Wed - 10.30 to 11.15, did the drug / alcohol test. Cost P550
Thurs - 07.55 to 08.15, arrived with the completed application form (downloaded) and test papers. Did the photo / thumbprint,paid and received the receipt/temp licence. Come back next week for the plastic. Cost P656.

1 minutes walk away from LTO a few doors down is Photocopy place and in between a Chop Chop place. All you need is money and alot of patience.....

 

Aaah - I thought I'd got off pretty lightly. Another 8am visit then.
