Dumaguete City to discipline unruly foreigners.

 

I didn't see anything in the Expat Forum. It is an Expat topic. I guess I will have to read every thread, or just get your permission before I post.

Once, when at a store in Dumaguete, I was in the check-out line and ahead of me was another foreigner. He was yelling and was being extremely rude and hateful to the girl checker, who was trying very hard to accommodate him. After he left in a huff, I apologized to her and told her "we aren't ALL like that!" I was quite embarrassed.....

Oh no. Sounds like that guy needs to be kicked out! Sounds like the New Yorkers who moved into their suburb, South Florida when we lived there. I never heard another New Yawker apologize because, well, they were from New York! Ah, but people like that brought in so much money that we Floridians didn’t need an income tax.
