    The new method for treating cancer is called Immunotherpy us a person's immune to fight cancer. Does anyone know a Dr. in the Philippines who uses this method. Please email me at: lbriggs2002@hotmail.com

    If you have cancer and want to live, go to a country with proper healthcare facilities. The Philippines is not one of them.

    Are you just assuming the cancer patient has a passport and is able to leave the country or do you have inside knowledge?

    It was just a general statement. Maybe I should keep it to myself so people don't get demoralized from the realities of life.

    I take your point but reality? My Wifes cousins Wife went to China ( she of Chinese descent) with Liver Cancer, she was told 6 months to live, she then went to the US for treatment, Her Brother (Lives there) and arranged things she was told 1 year max, came home and Lived under the Medical facilities here in the PI and Lived 17 years, Sometimes we do not give credit :rolleyes:

    Perhaps, but that doesn't mean Philippine healthcare had anything to do with it. She could have been anywhere and lived longer than doctors thought she would. Happens all the time....and sometimes they live much shorter. When it comes to health, anecdotal evidence is the last thing you should consider. Play the odds, not the exceptions.

    I had once a friend. In Switzerland he died 14 days after he got the diagnosis of lung cancer. Even very good hospitals can not be good enough to save the life.
