Sorry norm ive just got back from there but took the roro as took bike. Passenger was p120 each way to siquijor but with bike was p580.
Roro was 8.30,10am,2pm and 6pm. 1.5 hr sailing time.
Would deff go back there also just for some peace and quiet. The difference is unreal between here and there.

Are you trying to say (in a very kind way) that you asked something but don't know if the message reached the brain (or space in which it is usually located)? My experience yesterday (in a restaurant which shall remain nameless  ) "I don't eat rice so can I have a substitution?"/"Yes Sir"/"OK, so what will you substitute it with?"/"Rice Sir"/"Ok, so if I don't have any rice, will the price be cheaper?"/"Yes Sir, cheaper"/"OK, so I will have the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Coke and no rice"/"That will be 59 pesos Sir".

Footnote: With rice the meal was 59 pesos.

    no, not really.

i asked the 1st time cuz there was no schedule posted (as they did 6 years ago) and online schedules can be out of date.

i asked the 2nd time cuz the 1st time i asked, the ticket person said that there was no boat on saturday and i found it hard to believe that the ferry didn't run on a saturday.

i asked the 3rd time cuz a big truck passed by when the ticket person was answering my 2nd query and i 'm not good at reading lips but i did hear, for a third time, that there was no boat on saturday..

also, i asked two guards, one at the waiting building door, where the siquijor ticket window was when 1st got there and i was directed to the ticket office near the entrance gate and i assumed i was at the fast boat ticket window but now i'm thinking i wasn't at the fast boat window. see the M/V Jaylan 2 and MBca Jaziel schedules on Siquijor Island, Philippines Free Web Directory; Ferry / Shipping Schedule. ( No Trips on Saturdays ).

guess i'll go back there and scratch a little deeper…

so how was the chicken sandwich?

You mentioned a few casual inquiries that you made about the Saturday service but I noticed that you made no mention of speaking with local vendors, tricycle drivers, jeepney drivers or bench warmers in the proximity of the terminal and local sorry sorry stores. (I think that stands for "sorry sorry, out of stock") I would suggest that the only way you are really going to get to the bottom of this is if you "stake out" the docks for a Saturday. Since tomorrow is Saturday maybe you could post your findings tomorrow night? I have no intention of going to Siquijor anytime soon, much less on a Saturday, but I am just curious. Thank you in advance. All my time is spent on the internet combing local forums for things to criticize, object to and correct, so I cannot do the research myself.

There is a travel agency on Perdicios just south of silliman ave on the left side, a couple meters beyond ok fabrics with a whole bunch of scheds on the wall, seems up to date. The only TRUE schedule is probably at the booths at the pier. And yes, Filipinos seem unable to say "i don't know," but that's part of the charm when you learn to live with it. The first thing you get used to is "out of stock," if you can't deal with that, you won't last....

Sorry I have to ask it here. Isn't scary to visit Siquijor? I guess you know what I mean.
