When I was a Scot, in a past life, I kept my large haggis under my kilt and had endless attention from the ladies ..... it turned out that they really liked haggis.
Not silly at all, maybe that's it. But the sizes are labeled same as USA number system, so they should be the same. But they're not, also skimpy in the junk allowance. Resisting my impulse to reply sarcastically... Yes, I know that drinking in public is an offense, but most cops in the USA only hassle those drinking who cause other problems. Also they are almost never arrested but given a minor citation. And even not that if they are not drunk. This guy was put in jail.
The US number system? I thought underwear was marked as S/M/L/XL/etc, which corresponds with a waist size range (w/ elastic material). Which will change based off of the region you are in. Asian market, Asian sizes. It is unreasonable to expect US/Western sizes in the Philippines/Asia. Buying with the expectation of finding Western sizes doesn't make the company irresponsible or liable, it makes for a bad customer. I don't think they should have to issue refunds for this. The customer is not always right. They used to lock Otis in the drunk cell every weekend in Mayberry. Isn't that what people want 'Muricah to go back to? The good ol' days...or MAGA! Joking aside; do you know how long he was put in jail? Or that he wasn't causing additional problems while he was drinking in public? He very well may have deserved a night or two in the drunk tank to keep him from harming himself or others.
I've had the same issue myself finding suitable briefs for me. I prefer boxer briefs however. I never can find anything suitable in Dumaguete and what they do carry wouldn't fit a westerner with a 38" waist and any sort of package. I always have to stock up in Cebu whenever I make a trip. I've come to like Puritan brand boxer briefs, the Fusion line they have. Quite comfortable for me. Its crazy though with the amount of foreigners here that the stores don't seem to have any care of providing sizes and fits for foreigners. Even when it comes to shirts, shorts, shoes, and sandals many are out of luck and require Cebu.
Nah, I'll buy clothes for my Western body frame from Western manufacturers. Buying clothes in Asia is a waste of my time and sanity.
