Will agree on prices are just a joke in this city now, nowhere else on the island from what ive seen especially for food. And as for the traffic its just one big joke, the only way to cure that prob is have a system like the mmda in manila, that would cure a huge amount of it and get alot of the garbage off the road.
As for noreco theres not really any answer for a monopoly!

Traffic could be improved a good deal by enforcing laws and hiring a traffic engineer that didn’t get his diploma from a fixer.

Which one? I can think of 4 that they are "working" on at this writing and there are likely more I don't know about.

I think it would be far BETTER if we had a choice BUT I am not sure we can call it UNFAIR that we do not - I say this because it is not our country and they can do as they please (be it classed unfair or not) and we then have the option to move elsewhere.

I think it more UNFAIR that Filipinos have rights in foreign countries which foreigners do not have here - but that is the fault of the foreign governments.

A valid opinion. I think it more UNFAIR that Filipinos are unlikely to ever get the chance to see a foreign country, let alone live in one. If they do get to see one it is likely one of the South East Asian countries and if they make it to the land of milk and honey I can't blame them for thinking the country is so rich that they can have their share just for making it that far. Alternatively, foreigners can go anywhere they want and, meh, just another country. Send the pension here, please.
