Another Heads Up Tue. Bacong Fiesta

Unfortunately, it's the main day/ night tomorrow, hopefully it will end then. Hope there's a brownout.

 

It's funny to see no matter how poor people are, a lot of food everywhere for the fiesta. You are right many make loans to join the party and buy food and drinks. I live in Bacong and enjoy seeing how the locals clean and prepare for the fiesta. It can be noisy but I'm happy to pay the price when I see the toothless lady a few houses away, act like Tina Turner to the karaoke, it is it all worth

 

The fiesta pig outs remind me of US Thanksgiving where we stuff ourselves with turkey stuffing potatoes gravy salad etc pumpkin pie and then two turkey sandwiches and apple pie later. d*mn I miss that.

 

No problems with the locals enjoy Iam for that. I live next to the locals but playing that shite boom boom crap from 6 Am until 0:130 next morning meters from my house. Pisses me off. Obviously you don't live near suchlike.

 

Yes, I live 40-50 meters away from the speakers and the bum bum bass. You are lucky it stops already 1.30 am, just stopped here at 3.45 am lol. Now we maybe will have peace until the debt for the fiesta are paid, unfortunately, rumors say some of the locals sold some land and will celebrate it next weekend, hope Siquijor is far enough to find some peace

I can't hear anything, no Boom boom bang bang, apart from in the distance a singing female singing her heart out, so beautiful, so delicate, I thought it was a cat lol
