Then why complain about cigarette smoke if the vehicle emissions do not bother you. It is not only during rush hour that vehicles admit smoke. It happens 24/7.

Not always the case when you say excuse me. On several occassions i was ignored or received negative response from another player at the opposite table.

I honestly have no idea what a bory cat is.

I don't think anyone goes anywhere to be taken advantage of.

The supply and demand market would say otherwise.

Hey, if you don't like, that's fine. I don't personally go there for the prostitutes, but if there are people who want to do that and there are girls willing to fill the profession then more power to them. As long as nobody is getting hurt (or they are only hurting themselves) then I couldn't give a crap less. And that mentality is why I moved to the Philippines. I see more and more people like you are trying to change that by pushing their prudish beliefs and expectations onto others...and the government is listening and turning into a nanny state. That sucks, but there are other countries I can go to. I just don't like it that you can't be satisfied with being miserable all on your own. Not sure why you want to make everyone else miserable along with you.

I wasn't complaining about cigarette smoke. I was answering a question/replying to someone else that commenting on the smoking in the bar.

Gee, you're in a bar and someone gave you a negative response. Judging from your attitude here I can only wonder why they might have done that. /sarc

The key being the ones who matter. Fortunately the ones who matter are not the same ones who mattered before. Times are changing. The boulevard is going through a much needed change.

My negative attitude is based on personal experience. I simply said excuse me just like you. The response I received from the individuals was negative. Thus giving me a negative attitude based on a simple excuse me request.

My response to the cigarette smoke was directed at the person complaining about the cigarette smoke. Do not why you thought it was directed at you as I replied to their post.

I am not miserable. I stopped going to the wh*re bars several years ago. The thing that I find is amusing is that you condone the behavior. The average filipino's do not condone such behavior and despise such places that degrade filipino culture. The majority of my friends are filipino's and do not support that type of behavior. So it seems their beliefs are prudish as well based on your previous response

I doubt Why Not will be going anywhere anytime soon. But the changes I have seen and heard about are not foor the good. A bunch of talk about sh*tty malls/shopping centers. Ugh. Useless.

It is what you make of it. Personally, I understand that there is alcohol in bars and sometimes people can be a bit rude/unreasonable when they consume it. You have to be willing to let that stuff slide...or get in an argument or fight. I choose to let the vast majority of it slide as it just isn't worth the trouble. I really don't have any issues with people getting out of the way, I'm friends with the local regulars and staff and they will deal with any customers that are interfering with the game.

Well then you should have quoted them instead of me.

What behavior? People screwing? I'm really not concerned with what people do on their own time.

The locals are always going to bars to get drunk and try to hook up. Even in bars like Why Not the locals far out number the foreigners. What the "average Filipino" says and what the "average Filipino" (just as the "average person") actually does are two very VERY different things. Suggesting they are above human nature and don't act on the same desires and vices like the rest of us is completely ridiculous.

Some are, certainly. Most aren't though.
