The Micro Valley computer store that was beside Unitop appears to be closed down, does anybody know if they have relocated or just closed ?
I got a Brother printer there sometime ago but none of the other computer stores seem to stock the particular ink i need Brother LC38/bk/y/c/m

I honestly do not know why I go to Micro Valley when looking for parts other than it is close to the BPi Bank and Unitop. Each and every time I have gone in and asked it is the standard "Sorry Sir not in Stock" reply.

I have found Ace Logic to be a tad more helpful, often having the more common parts in stock. But you have to be on your guard. I bought a USB Drive that was faulty and they tried to renege on replacing it stating it was past 7 days (despite it stating on the packaging it has a Lifetime Warranty) so I pulled out my phone to show them I had messaged them within 2 hours of buying it to notify them I would be in at the end of the month due to me living 25km's away and that I only catch Jeepney/Tricycle to the city which is painful at best, to which they replied "Okay Sir". It took around 20 minutes of standing my ground to get the replacement. Honestly I use to have more success on eBay buying from China than finding PC parts around Dumaguete. :banghead:

    Is it
Inkjet or Laser? I am thinking of buying a Laser Printer here but am worried about the availability of cartridges. I am so over buying Inkjets and bringing them home to find the Cartridges are dried up and having to spend more than the original purchase price of the Printer just to buy a new refill, then find out a few weeks later the heads are dry again and no amount of cleaning will get it to print again. I am told you do not have that problem with the Laser Printers, just the higher cost of Cartridge replacement...

They also make printers that require no ink or cartridges and print through heating the paper....but good luck finding the right kind of paper for that. I have two of those printers that have never been used.

The local internet cafe is cheaper and much less if a hassle than maintaining your own printer.
