It seems like the coast guard are being very catious of this incoming typhoon around north luzon. Earlier there was a post that all ferries are cancelled from cebu and bohol and now maayo shipping have said they will suspend all ferry trips from lunchtime thursday. Sounds a bit over the top as remember when that typhoon hit layte we got nothing here.
I do remember in 2016 when on Nov. 24 also all ferries were cancelled between Lilo An/Bato to Negros due to a typhoon somewhere active hundreds of miles away. Never seen a sea so calm as that particular day. Being catious is one, but don't over act.
I just got a notice on my Facebook from Maayo: PLEASE BE INFORMED. WE ARE NOW AGAIN BEING INSTRUCTED BY THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF CEBU PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD TO CONTINUE OUR TRIPS UNTIL 5:00PM.
Light rain here, chickens outside the door happily scratching and browsing, not a peep out of the Goats munching away outside the fence, but possible calamity at the other end of the country, so send all the kids home from Maluay and Zamboanguita Schools. Maybe a few of the Teachers smuggled in some Tanduay or Red Horse and did not want to be disturbed... *SNORT*
Our Daughter rang to say that Doctors Hospital University (Cebu) is suspending Classes next week but she can't get Home because of the Ferries, Flights are well overbooked and even they (The smaller planes they use) may be grounded by Monday, So we just sent additional Cash and told her do what you do best.
