Manila - The telephone company Smart Communications sends text messages to its customers, with the remark that starting from 28 September 2018 the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is stopped permanently. - klajoo.com - Sending audio files, photos and videos over text is no longer allowed. Smart recommends for sending audio files, photos and videos to use Facebook Messenger or other messaging apps. Sending a MMS cost 2 PHP within the Philippines and 20 PHP abroad. I have never had any success in sending or receiving MMS post ~2005. I wasn't aware that anyone actually used it anymore.

Maybe they just wanted people to stop complaining about it not working, so they say it's unsupported now. LOL

Any time I received an MMS from Globe the sender was never shown and I had to go to their horrible website and log in to an account that didn't exist to view the message. Now I know who was sending me all those messages.
