Is anyone here experiencing problems with Google Captcha? I have a problem here at home on my PC where it will not load the images required to pass their security check. This has been happening now for the past 3+ weeks to date. I have (when I have been able to access Google for a short lived search) managed to read many supposed fixes suggested by the Clowns who work for Google or Facebook, and tried almost every one, but everytime I come back after a restart, I am faced with the problem of images not loading having to click the "I am not a Robot" Test" all over again... Before this I was barraged by this Captcha thing, but was able to click on images to most times verify I was not a Robot, but the past 3 weeks has been a right PITA!

I have also lost two new Facebook Profiles I opened due to being asked to verify who I am by having to click on Google's stupid Captcha Test, and of course, no images load, which means I am unable to verify who I am, so goodbye to my Facebook profiles which are hanging in limbo until the Captcha service decides to once again load images. It seems for some reason now that Google and Facebook are Bed Partners and Facebook is using Google's Captcha Service to verify users.

I am using Fil-Products Internet, and it is useless asking them in regards to the assigned IP Address being the problem, as no one will show to look into it despite explaining to them we are having issues.

I have cleared Cookies/ Cache/ reset the Modem/ Ran Virus-Malware Scans etc all to no avail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the following Browsers; Internet Explorer/ Google Chrome/ Google Chrome Canary/ Mozilla Firefox/ Crazy Browser and ALL experience the same problem 99% of the time. All Windows updates are done. I have installed Shockwave Flash and Java in an attempt to getting the Captcha images to load to no avail.

Is ANYONE else around Dumaguete experiencing similar problems with being harassed by Google's Captcha service not working?

I have cleared Cookies/ Cache/ reset the Modem/ ran Virus-Malware Scans etc all to no avail and everything comes up clean...

To date I have found no way of contacting either Google or Facebook to alert them that their Captcha Service is not working here.

This is what I am getting when I am faced with this stupid Captcha situation (see attached image where no images load)

ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Try with a VPN or legit proxy.

It is set to automatically (AFAIK) detect settings as set up by the Fil-Products Tech who installed it here. I did ask about the settings so I could write them down in case I had to ever put them back in should something go wrong, but was told there are none, to use the Automatically Detects Settings feature. I was given no Username or Password details. I will look at a Free Proxy now but I forget how any of that works now. Will try and school myself again on the subject and see if that will work, I know last time I tried anonymous Web Surfing I was virtually locked out of the internet!

VPNs are generally a paid service, not something in your settings.

You can try a free proxy but they are normally not very good. Vpn is the way to go if you are having issues with things loading from a Philippine IP address. (It likely isn't Google's or Facebook's fault. The blame lies with all the spammer and scammers you share an IP address with and your ISP.)

This is basically where I am at (see image -> I think #01 is my problem!)

I will again send the Wife to Fil-Products and see if they can change/check my IP Address as I feel this problem might be connected to a local Internet Cafe which recently opened a few months back very close by, and when all this Captcha BS started. Everything worked fine up to a few months back, then the Captcha thing came on hot and strong, then in the past few weeks this Captcha thing has gotten totally out of hand. Hopefully we can get someone to come up to the house and work this BS out!

I was mainly wondering/hoping if anyone else has experienced the same thing lately. I know a few on here have Fil-Products also, and may have experienced this and had the problem fixed. It is a PITA when you have a Student/s who are trying to use the PC to do their (notified at the last minute as per usual) Homework which is expected the following morning and 99% of searches comes up with this nonsense Captcha problem. :banghead:

This is the other thing in the back of my mind; (I would not be surprised if we are all being monitored here also)

    2. Check Your Network
Sometimes (mostly in countries like China) the Internet Service Provider (ISP) masks the IP address and track your browsing activities. This will cause the complete network of IP addresses used by that ISP to get blocked by security systems like reCAPTCHA used by Google. If you face the CAPTCHA on every instance then approach your ISP and clarify with them on the issue.

I had a problem for 2 days BUT I found that by Restarting the PC it gave a new IPS address and things went OK, So now if I have a problem I off all for 10 mins and all seems OK, it does this on the IPS address at the time it is happening

    Are you with Fil-Products Jack?

I turn off/switch off the PC overnight (I switch off/unplug everything every night when I go to bed after losing 2x PC's and a Laptop due to bad Power here) as well as the Modem and still experience the same problem when I switch back on in the morning. I have also reset the Modem which should have given me a new IP Address (according to the page I was reading/following) and it took 30 minutes before it reconnected to the Internet with what I suspect should have been a new IP Address - Opened my Browser, typed in a search and BAM! Failed Captcha! I think I am going to have to drag one of the Techs here kicking and screaming to see the problem for themselves as it appears to be my specific (shared?) IP Address that is at fault here... :banghead:

Just my 2c: did you checked your computers for malware? You need to get a bootable DVD/CD/USB-stick with malware removal tools on it. Kaspersky and other antimalware companies have such tools available for download. They are also a proof against internet providers telling you that your computers have malware on them. Then you can show them the log files.

What browser are you using? I think the captcha thing is a java script app. I have problems with it when running the latest Firefox(64) as they have discontinued their support for Javascript in Firefox. For example, when I am using Firefox I can't use the Philippine Airlines website - it always either gives me a "validating your java script engine" or a captcha box, and then it is frozen. But, if I use MS Internet Explorer it works just fine.
