Looks like I am not alone! Literally a Hundred + Happy (aka; abusive) Google user comments in the following Google Forum link stating the obvious to Google regards their buggy Captcha software!

Makes feel a little bit better knowing I am not alone on this issue even if it doesn't fix the problem... Maybe one day someone from Google (a REAL Human or one of their dozens of Bots mining this Forum for information to add to their Search Engine) will actually read users comments and fix the problem... :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: (Yeah I am holding my breath!)

    This guy is an English Teacher in the Philippines;

    David Wallis:
The only time I see this ridiculous "About This Page" is when I am at school. We are next to an online teaching English school. We are a school, for cryin' out loud! What would one expect when you have a hundred teachers using the Internet?

And another thing! We are not located in the grand, glorious USA where WIFI and Internet are so abundant and fast. We live in the Philippines, the slowest and most expensive Internet service in Asia.

So, how about giving us some slack. We teachers. We use the Internet to conduct educational activities. Our students don't have time waiting endlessly while a CAPTCHA takes hours to load up, just so we teachers can get on with our lessons.

You can stop with the copy-pasta from Google and FB service/forum pages. You have tried their methods, they didn't work. You came here asking for advice, you got it but don't want to take it. I have ran into this exact same problem before and resolved the issue.

You can believe what you like but a VPN will most likely resolve the issue. Google and Facebook are just not going to tell you how to get around their captcha/bot-stopping technology, if they did it would make those technologies completely pointless. Your issue affects so few people and in a country that makes them very little money that they are just not going to care about your problem.

Some VPN providers have options for dedicated IP addresses. This will help with getting around these captcha VPN IP triggers. I know you don't want this to be the answer because it is not a free option or possibly due to having a lack of payment options but this is very likely the solution. (And if it isn't you can always get your money back.)

The only free option I can think of is to block every other device in your house from connecting to your router/modem, wait 24-48 hours and then try the captcha again on one device you know to be clear from all viruses/malware. Of course it may work after that, leading you to believe that it was another device in the house, when in reality it was just a coincidence and your new IP address just hadn't been flagged by Google/FB yet. Given that most people fail horribly at thinking logically, it will likely start an argument in the house as people get blamed for causing problems with the internet (when in fact it is unlikely that was the cause). This is why I did not suggest this in the first place. You have to know how to troubleshoot before attempting to do this...and before going and pointing fingers at people for having an infected device.

A hundred? Out of billions of daily users that really isn't something they would bother with. The captcha software works as it should for 99.99999% of their users.

Get a better network admin. Tell your teachers to stop using work computers for personal search queries.

    Sucks to be you.

Again, get a better network administrator. "We teachers." (Didn't they say they were English teachers? lol) What kind of teacher has their lesson plans going through Google search engines? lol Oh yeah, Filipino English teachers. I guess they should learn how to properly put together a lesson plan and class material.

Edit: BTW, these people are the reason your searches are getting turned away. When you have a classroom of 30+ people all searching "How to English good?" at the exact same time...yeah, that's not normal search behavior and the IP address gets pinged as potential spam/bot activity.

I get asked by FB to provide identity verification, such as a photo - but I have no intention to give those sons-of-a-b*tch anything. I would rather leave the internet than be prodded about by the big boys (Google, Microsoft, FB, etc ... they may even own parts of each other for all I know) who are trying to squeeze every bit of information out of us to use for God-knows-what.

I will use my 1000th message here to ask if you are serious? I don't care anyway as I have just been given 15 trophy points and am now off with my family and friends to celebrate.

A lot of what I have read online from the paranoid public is that Google and Facebook are gathering information such as Facial Recognition, Users preferences and likes etc, to smarten up their own Robots, to better recognise us and know our movements before we even know them ourselves. I don't care as Facebook insists on tagging my Sister as myself, so if the plods ever come looking for me, they will make a bee line straight for my sister and arrest her instead! hehe

Try opera browser if you are not willing to pay for a descent VPN service. Opera got a good vpn build in their browser and works surprisingly good!! This will end this Capcha BS because you dont share your public IP with 100.000 other pinoy.

Personally i use IpVanish VPN, for me by far the best VPN solution and in combination with Fibr 50/50 gives me mostly a workable solution. Strange is, one day i connect to IpVanish servers in Singapore. The other day i work via Manila or Hong Kong. This needs some trial and error to see what works best what day.

But this way i get a ping to europe under 230ms and like 10 to 20mbps bandwith to Amsterdam!

Without VPN this is more like 350ms and 1 ~2 Mbps....

This is my speedtest to amsterdam at rushhour 18:36

And speedtest to the same speedtest server in Amsterdam same time without VPN. Since my server is on this same ISP in Amsterdam you can see the remarkable difference for me. Not even explaining the improvement on VOIP calling using the VPN. But thats off course not important for most...

I do not have a Credit Card...

There will be no arguments or finger pointing with others regards connecting. I have one PC. No other device connects as I do not have WiFi and Fil-Products only supplies a Cable Modem with a single connection, I cannot connect two PC's.

I scanned again last night using Microsoft Security Essentials, Trend-Micro Online Scanner, Spybot Search & Destroy and all came up clean. I have also blocked every Program I do not want to connect to the Internet via a Third Party Firewall.

I use three Sites daily, Gmail, Facebook and DI Forum. I can tell you straight out that there are no bad sites being looked at by either myself or my Wife unless one of these 3 Sites are capable of planting something. I run a couple of Facebook Pages and Admin on several others which keeps me busy with Car/Automotive related material only.

I use to use Google for Searching for the Daughter's Homework which I do for her as well as the Nephews and Nieces, but DuckDuckGo and Yahoo seem to be fulfilling that role without the need to use Google search which is part of the problem with the Captcha crap.

Never mind mate. I give up and will not try to recover my Facebook Accounts as I am over it. I will still be going to Fil-Products to ask them to connect me to a different slot or give me a new IP. Maybe best you lock this thread... Thank you for the advice to all.
