Why?

I’m a combat veteran and I think this forced worship of the military is creepy as f*ck. I don’t want want free nuggets. I don’t want f*cking strangers walking up to to me thanking me for my service. You want to thank me for my service? Elect people who make sure the Veterans Administration is properly funded and delivers on what we were promised when we joined up. Elect f*cking adults who use our military as an instrument of peace rather than enforcers for corporate thugs.

You can bet your @ss I'm taking my senior discount though.

I agree 100% and I earned my CIB in 1966. Where were all these Vet huggers in 1967 when I got home. In fact we were told to dress down to civilian clothing before leaving Travis AFB because there were a lot of USA Citizen that are very hostel to Viet Nam Vets. I was put on a Gray Hound bus to SFO for the trip back to MI. to collect my hore around wife and report to the 82 Airborne at Ft Brag. Before I could leave MI. I got arrested for "Minor in position". The cops took and no doubt drank my birthday gift from my wife. Spent the night in the drunk tank and I was 100% SOBER! It has been 51 years and I still bad mouth MI. Michigan to this day can still kiss my a$$ clear up to the brown.

If you want to go there we need to do it in privet. The jury of public opinion should not get in valved. Most of then think war is only fought in Holly Wood. I know the ugly truth and I think you do too.
