Do you squeak when you walk too? I thought I was tight but wow. If I was you I would do a protest in front of the Coffee shop. Real!

I am not sure I sit comfortably with this type of comment - it can be said in another way (e.g. "So maybe have a chat with her about this") without labelling a member's child. None of us has ever learned everything, even at age 100, certainly not at age 19. There is always room for a caring parent (as from reading here I am sure Mr P is) to help guide a developing adult.

I don,t consider a 19 year old to be a child, at that age you are a adult.

With a lot of learning left to do. Hopefully you can't say you were the same person you were when you were 19.

I hope that people who become adults have learned how to make polite comments.

What's worse, the guy who comes in and sits for 3 hours, buys 1 coffee and takes up space or the coffee shop that doesn't want that kind of customer?

We seem to be forgetting the McDonalds brigade, closer to 90 than 19, its like a walking hospital, some of them take up 2 seats, covered in bandages, limping up and down to the counter for the refill, big black veins all over, hair spiralling out of their ears and noses, looking like a bunch of homeless, great big bellies, walking timebombs, just poured into seats, now if they had access to charging their laptops n phones, they would never ever leave if only to go to immigration or for a check up.

The coffee shops or any other business should be allowed to conduct their business as they see fit! It is private property. Public property being streets, sidewalks, parks etc which are owned and maintained by gov.
It is private property and open to the public. If you don’t like the way they do business then don’t go there, vote with your feet. For you to make a derogatory post about this establishment is just wrong IMO.
