Why no Strip Clubs / Girly Bars Around DGT?

    I will argue that 90% of us expats here are, "less government-leave us alone-pro freedom-conservatives". Right? Me too. So what's up with Zero decent naked pole dance bars around here? Everybody always "poo-poo's" them. "Oh, I would never go in one.", "they objectify women", BS. Many, if not most, men, and lots of women, enjoy looking at naked hot young girls while drinking a beer with friends. It's basically harmless. And such club's do provide many girls with high wage employment. It's not as if there is zero prostitution here currently. It's everywhere. So why aren't there a few "good" club's here? Bacolod has a couple. Even Zamboanga has two. Dumaguete needs a real nice men's club like Midnight in Sabang Puerto Galera, Nida's in Patong Phuket, or Spanky's in Nana Plaza Bangkok. Build it, and they will come. (get it?)

    I am glad Duma does not abide by such an industry. As for (they will come) I submit, those are the (they's) that can stay exactly where they are, IMHO. Perhaps you should have made this into a pole (pun intended) I would down vote any such idea of such. The Con's far far out weigh the (Pro's) Cheers!

    I would imagine Silliman University has something to do with it, Presbyterianism kind of frowns on activities like that along with the Catholic church I'd imagine. I seem to remember in the dim, distant past when Marcos opened Music Box, (the precursor to Why Not), old Agustin Perdices, the then mayor of Dumaguete wasn't impressed either.
