    Your wife can process the renewal for you, just needs a medical certificate saying you are unfit to travel.

    Thanks Michael, I have such a certificate but its it not so that when you're over a certain age you don't have to come in person anyhow??

    Thanks for the added info Gents. I intended an ACR Card just to open an account. Bank will not open an account (the only bank I have tried as of yet) and so I have decided to just keep my funds abroad and pull as needed. I do have many many ways of accessing my abroad accounts. Other than that, I will be seeking 13A and the Wife and I will get on that ASAP. Cheers

    Try RCBC Savings Bank across the street from Hotel Essencia. They opened an account for me while I was on the first 30 days of a tourist visa. However, I did show a Philippines drivers license at the time.

    Thanks, I searched the BOI website but can not find anything on "lawyer or accredited travel agency can do this". Could you pls copy this particular part here?

    Sorry for not replying back sooner, I got admitted to the hospital again!! You just have to check around to find a lawyer that does it. They will overcharge you but they have to pay a lot of people to get everything done for you. Is this your first ARC card? Of renewal?
