Does the BI office in Dumaguete process tourist visa extensions?

It isn't. It's one of the best places to live in this area. Best to check it out yourself.

I have always admired your willingness to be honest - even if some take offence.

So we have to be honest also - and say that VALENCIA, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, has been voted the very best place to live in the Philippines for the 10th year running.

New and existing ex-pats really need to try this place out. Great rentals, no aircon needed, big bikes, fast women. What more can you ask for!

I just moved out of Valencia where I have lived for the past year... here is what I experienced both good and bad but your experience may vary

    The bad...
    1. Noise levels ... lived on Gomez 3 blocks from Gym and the noise level made my windows rattle... same for the loud mufflers (not enforced here) going up and down the street at all hours especially at 6 am on weekdays
    2. Houses on all sides burned regularly.. as in 2 to 3 times a week
    3. Rents are higher here

    The good..
    1. Temperatures are usually much cooler than down in the city and you can really do without Air Con if you wish.
    2. Nice city vibe with a great Sunday market
    3. Neva's (my personal choice for sandwiches etc) and they deliver
