You can get travel sickness pills from any generics pharmacy. Forgot what they are called but they work.
I have vertigo and need these when I travel. Unless I'm driving, then I don't need them.

@RR_biker OK, thank you! Could you explain please, is this a real ECC paper or just a stamp in a passport? Did we need photos, copies and other documents at the airport like in the office? Can someone get it in the airport and then go back to walk in the city until departure or they should go into the departure zone right after getting ECC?

Last time I got an ECC at NAIA (I'm on a 13A) the issuance of the ECC was just before the passport control, so after checking in for the flight. You cannot enter that area without a valid boarding pass. All that was needed was passport, I card and the money to pay the ECC. No stamp in passport, just the receipt for the payment. Whether they would allow you to go back out of that area or not I presume largely depends on who's at the entrance. However, as check-in normally does not start but a few hours before the departure 'walking in the city' seems a moot point.

The last ECC I got was in Manila and they made me wait 72 hours to get it - not 71 hours. I finished the application process at 1:30pm Monday and they told me I could pick it up after 1:30pm on Thursday. I left the country Friday morning.

They just put an exit stamp in your passport. No need to bring any additional documents, pictures etc. The express lane fee of 500 peso you can pay two steps away. No, you cannot go back to the city or even leave the airport as your status is already exit The Philippines.

If you have been in the country on a 9a "Tourist Visa" for 6-12 months you CAN get your ECC at the Airport. You recieve it on the way to the gate, after checking your bag(s) and recieving your boarding pass, usually no more than 3 hours before takeoff. Here is my low production quality Video showing how/where at NAIA Terminal 3.

The 72 hour wait for getting an ECC in advance of departing the country is suggested, not mandatory, lead time. It can take that long to recieve it but doesn't always take that long. Planning on getting it faster, even if BI has been issuing same day recently, is taking a risk of missing a flight. Once the advance ECC is issued it is 'active' immediately and good for 30 days.

I am constantly amazed by people who post 'facts' about something they have never tried - contradicting others with personal experience, and confusing the crap out of those asking for help. If you don't know, Don't Answer. If you 'have' to answer, qualify your answer with 'I think', 'I have heard', 'I am not sure butt'.....
