Shooting Incident Victimizing Foreign National When: At about 7:01 PM of May 18,2019 Where: Highway Banilad near Giegies Store and Roilan Bakery, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Who: Victim: Martin Kreuser, 56 years old, German National, resident of San Jose Village this city Suspect: One (1) male person wearing gray jacket and black bullcap Why/How: On the said time, date and place wherein a shooting incident transpired victimizing one (1) foreign national with the use of an unknown caliber pistol hitting the latter at the right back lumbar portion of the body.Victim was already rushed to SUMC upon arrival of responding PNP pers for immediate medical treatment likewise personnel from this office conducted hot pursuit operation for possible identification and arrest of fleeing suspect.
Who writes these things? I'm thinking someone with "English as second language" writing skills trying to force this writing into some weird cult-speak. Probably 30 years ago some lawyer fired off a template after polishing off a bottle of EMP and nobody has bothered to update this sacred paper. Now every report for the past 30 years has sounded like the same gibberish and somewhere someone is laughing about it after every crime. It's the gift which keeps on giving. Feel bad for the guy who got shot. Maybe those cameras the city put up caught something?

Same here. Thank you guys for letting us German speaking members or others commenting in this english forum. And we are very sorry of our poor language skills. But don't worry Stefan, we can survive in Dumaguete quite well with this disabilty. So can other expats from non-speaking english countries as well in this city. Actually, I dare to say the Filipinos like us a little touch more than you guys. Because they are always scared to say something wrong or make grammatical mistakes with you. Plus you would speak to them in a heavy dialect from Texas, outback Australia, Liverpool England etc. Random examples. Do you realise we learnt your language at school and not at your provincial backyard ? Obivously you don't. What did this guy say ? Second language, wasn't it ?
