A fragmentation grenade (may 31, bacong mayor Mayor Jocelyn Alviola and husband, Vice Mayor Lenin Alviola) is not already a "contact sport" ??? I do think the best solution is to extend the sibulan runway at both ends, but then too many land speculators (and poor people who didn't sell) get hurt, so it won't happen. Corruption in the Philippines is almost as bad as the US.
The new road from theBacong-Valencia highway to the new Bacong airport is being paved in many areas including 1/2 kilometer up the hill from my house. I’m guessing the airport will be about a kilometer south of my house.
Hope they have acquired the necessary land - is there such a thing as 'compulsory purchase' here? How do you view the location Mr PatO in regards to its location to your home?
I think so, Landowners won't get the true value of their house and lot. I have noticed around my area Bacong/Banilad border that there is folk buying lots.
Why do you think that is? Because they hope to resell to the airport authority for a profit or wish to live near the airport?
It's about 3 kilometres to the new airport, so I think they might be onto a winner. Thinking price will go up around that area. 1.5 sqm
After all these years of nothing but gossip and no clear plans or actions, what do local people know of what and when on the Bacong airport saga? Was offered a piece of land very close to the proposed airport. If the project goes ahead it could a very noisy place. Who knows what will happen to the price per sqm? If the project does NOT go ahead, the land would be almost perfect. Due to the uncertainty, I'm in two minds! Any updated information on the Bacon airport is appreciated.
