I have just asked for a quote from Precision Glass and Jays. Precision Glass much more helpful and cheaper.

i found Precision Glass (my story)
google maps doesn't know where the GSIS building or Precision Glass are. well, actually, for the GSIS bldg, google maps shows an old Du Ex Sam building near the present DES building on the downtown north hiway location. i also asked 3 tryke drivers and they didn't know so i went to Jay's but they weren't interested in my small job.

i went home and got on google maps and searched GSIS again and this time i noticed that google shows 2 locations for GSIS, one in downtown by Du Ex Sam and one near the City Mall. so i went to city mall, found GSIS and... Precision Glass.

my project with precision glass went belly up so i'm still looking for a upvc window shop.

today, i went looking for the shops you referred to and i couldn't find them, would you please give me more location details.

which bridge is the old bianca bridge?
- the one between robinson mall and the market place
- the one between robinson mall and the cathredral/quezon park?
- the one near the ocean?

i went to the metro bank near norsu across from freedom park and didn't see any glass shops in the area. you wrote ''new metrobank'' but the only metro bank i could find in the area is across from freedom park. maybe it's an age thing tho i did get my cataracts cleaned. (lol)

7 trips to duma to have a simple window frame made <sigh>

I have similar problems. To find a good upv window shop in Dumaguete seems to be impossible. That's why I'm trying to get my windows from another province. I contacted this one:

Don't know what happened at Precision Glass. I ordered a 77" x 18" 3 awning windows and it turned out really nice. Talked with Hazel there and had no issues. Jays window is on Perdices street in duma. I preferred Precision.

 

Whats wrong with aluminium windows? There are plenty of those about.
