The Piapi wine store (Times) is still there, good selection. Times also as a grocery store near the BI Office with many of the same wines. Why Not deli has a nice selection as does Casablanca. I think Pasta King offers 20% off on take out wine. Lee Plaza has a few drinkable wines and Hypermart often carries Yellowtail. Cheers
I used to belong to a couple of online wine clubs back home in the uk but here I find the prices way too high for a half decent bottle of wine,I remember when I left the uk I rang the company and told them I was moving and to stop the monthly box, they said sir we can just change the delivery address and when I mentioned where they just laughed!
UPDATE 2019: I think Sofia's is still in Piapi, at least i know it's next door to Animal Wellness on Hibbard near neva's pizza, down from Bianco a couple hundred meters. I hesitate to rate the selection, but don't know of any other decent sized wine store. The charred Times business on Locsin had a large selection of wines, and some of those personnel are at Sofia's (same owner?). JLH, under Don Atilano has a decent few racks.. Hypermart and Robinsons have a pathetically small selection, probably Lee SuperPlaza has one too, never looked. Will have to try belcris.. With a susceptibility to gout, my wine consumption is way down, but a nice house wine is the various YellowTail Australian varieties, at the outrageous 495 pesos. THIS IS FROM 2016, HOW THE HELL DID IT GET INTO "new posts" ????
