Ours was about 40k php for a normal delivery.

As a side note, Siliman does not allow husbands to enter the delivery room.

If it is going to be normal delivery, there is no problem where she will deliver the baby. The baby will just come out no matter what. If everything is fine, I mean she has no health issues, Provincial Hospital would be okay. Just book for a private aircon room beforehand so you will get a pleasant experience while there.

Beware of mosquitoes in some of the hospital rooms. Invest in a mosquito net for the new born baby.

Then I strongly suggest you choose Siliman.

I have expat friends that have used the 'birthing' clinic/suite on Hibbard Avenue, next to Sofia's Liquor store(obviously well thought out for fathers to be) & Animal Wellness Vet clinic(multiple births?!), opposite the entrance of Amigo Subdivision, near Lord Byron's ribs etc(a snack whilst waiting, perhaps). This was for normal births only I presume, saved them a lot of financial hardship, a bit like Provincial without the queues.

But if there are ever any complications during or after birth you may need to rush to a hospital.

I would think that the midwife/midwives on duty, (perhaps even a doctor), would be able to make that sort of a call.

That goes without saying. But do you really want to put your wife or baby in a life or death situation navigating traffic to the nearest hospital and filling in forms at the entrance?
