It probably cost you 11 cents because your insurance paid for it ... so the question is: how much did your insurance cost you? I used to have BC/BS in the US and when I would pick up my ambien prescription my cost was $5. When I went off BC/BS and onto medicare they stopped covering the cost, and then if I wanted to pay out of pocket the cost would have been $85. On my last trip to the US I had to buy an inhaler from CVS and it cost me $75 ... the exact same inhaler at Mercury Drugs here cost me $7.

 

Wow. You know nothing about this person and label him an addict! Zolpidem helps a person sleep. It is not recreational, it does not make you high and it can be quite effective. People who make these erroneous statements contribute to the public opinion that such medicines are addictive causing no-nothing politicians to classify them as”narcotics” and needlessly restrict their sale. Addiction is a complicated topic and drug manufacturers have gone to great lengths to provide these safe sleep medications without causing major addiction, unless you are addicted to getting to sleep at night. It is almost laughable at how some people think everything that is useful is an addiction, even sex lol.

Yes, addictioncenter, who tries to convince you that you are addicted so that your insurance will pay big bucks to put you in a “treatment” program and “cure” you. If you are going to depend on the Internet for information, get streetwise and ask yourself the motive these sites might have to convince you are a so-called “addict”. It is always money. I took ambien (zolpidem) for a few months, not just weeks, and had no desire to refill my prescriptions after I finally was able to sleep. The doctor who prescribed it to me said it might be only very slightly addictive so it is listed as a Class 5 drug, lower than Valium or other benzodiazepines which some (but not most) feel some addiction to but can easily break it with no withdrawal. The US FDA describes any sleep medication as addictive but most physicians will tell you it is not. However, addiction centers will happily take your money to cure you of your Diet Coke addiction if you wish.
