more stores closed/moved than open...maybe they should raise the rent some more so everyone else moves out...great business plan!
That place has always been overpriced anyway,a complete waste of space. Hopefully sm will arrive one day.
Interesting that the Robinson Place Ormoc is fully stuffed. Only one shop seems available for rent. Here in Ormoc we have a Robinson Place, an SM mall and a Gaisano Riverside. Under construction are a City Mall, a Market Market mall and a replacement for the burned down Gaisano Capital at a new location.
Alot of the stuff made in china is good stuff made under licence from western companys under strict guidelines but the stuff that arrives here is mostly fake junk.
Depends where you go buying the stuff. The stuff in a Lee Plaza or in the better level supermarkets like Robinsons or SM looks better than in some of the cheap markets.
When we compare Dumaguete with other cities we need to do it with cities around same size. ICM in Tagbilaran compared with Robinson in Dumaguete is like night and day, ICM have a huge selection in meat and vegetables and other stuff (imported) we foreigner like to buy. More customer to the mall also give more turnover to the other shops in the mall. In my opinion many of the other shops in Robinson Dumaguete is a joke to, it's look like it's very random what you can find on their shelters, with a few exceptions
