According to the billboards the mall is expanding on an exciting new food court at the highway frontage.
And I believe the work at the back will be an expanded jeepney terminal.
    There are already cinemas inside?

Well, well. You seem to be a bit late with these news. We all know that and were reading the billboards already a couple of months ago. And now what ? Nothing. So they will continue soon or never. Everything is possible in this country. Just relax. If you are not too old you might be able to see the all new Robinson. Maybe.

RRHI profit down 32.4% as of June

Gokongwei-led retailer Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI) booked P1.77 billion in first semester net profit, down 32.4 percent from the same period last year as noncash interest expense on lease liability ballooned following a shift to new accounting standards.

RRHI reflected the year-to-date impact of adopting the new accounting standard on leases under Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)16.

A couple of months ago and you expect the work to be completed already?

Nothing going on? I see a giant Cat Backhoe digging away there at the front.

So the government is requiring them to keep better books, which I assume is for tax collection purposes? Are the other, smaller, malls following these guidelines/laws as well or are they just skirting under it because they are less visible for now? What happens after the government gets the big guys in check and starts painting the bullseye on smaller businesses? Seems the Philippines government is starting to get serious about taking their cut. It will eventually hit every business and be passed on to the customers. Ready for more inflation and price hikes?
