Hi all, I'm seeking a Master Woodcarver who could make some wooden swords for my son, fancy ones like reproductions of Lord of the Rings styles. I'm thinking that there are all kinds of carpenters here, making wooden furniture & cabinets & such, and one of these might have the tools, skills and interest to make us a few swords as an extra gig. Can anyone suggest somebody -- name, location, phone #? We live in southern Dumaguete, so hopefully not far away..... Thanks!

I would to know more about the wood carver/sculptor and see pictures of his work. I have numerous Filipino paintings but no wood carvings or sculpture.
It has been years, I will try my best to get you there. The owner of the wood shop is ANDIE. You go south out of Bacong, 1 or 2 KL. It is the first place on the seaward side after you cross a small bridge. It is called MAUREZE Lumberyard & Construction Supplies. I no longer have the number.
