around this thing that the media is pushing off on me. (SAME DAY AS U.S.). Now mind you I have been across the international date line forty or more time and still cannot figure out how anyone can be in a different day. If there is only 24 hours in a day here on earth, then everyone HAS to be in the same day. The international date line dose NOT move it stays in the same place regardless of the rotation of the earth. The sun dose not come up in the east any more that it gos down in the west. The earth is simply rotating. So if the media saying they are going to air a program the same day as the U.S. then the U.S. must be in a different day, which is not posable if there is only 24 hours in a day. I guess the media wants me to believe that the U.S. is in a different WORLD. Time is nothing more than a fantasy, dreamed up in the mind of human kind.
I guess I'm just getting senile. Fuk-it, I'm going to bed I hope I wake up in a different world. :bucktooth::sleep:

I can do time travel. I can leave the Philippines and arrive back in the US before I left the Philippines.

You have to have point of reference from which other times can be determined, that's all the international date line is, a point of reference. Maybe simplify the question. Can you understand how for someone in NewYork it can be Monday at 2 am and in California it can be Sunday at 11 pm? Two different days. If it can be true in the US, can you now understand how it can be true with the Philippines relative to the US?

    Done that many times.
Of cores I can. But if there is only 24 hours in any given day than we all must be in that 24 hour time frame (The same day).
Even if I were to look at it from your stand point. What is the meaning of "same day as the US" that is aired several times every hour of every day (24 hours)? Just what are these media type trying to get me to believe? May be that is why in the states most of the viewing public call it the boob-tub! Yes that is right I watch the "boob-tub" so I must be a BOOB and the "same day as the US" must be bull :poop:, right?:dead:

When you cross the International Date Line from west to east, you subtract a day, and if you cross the line from east to west, you add a day. Depending on which time zone the country follows, the time difference on either side of the line is not always 24 hours.*****

Think of the 24 hour window as a sliding window so that in some cases the two different places are in the same day and sometimes they aren't. Just like my NY, CA example. There are 3 hours a day when they are in different days. The Philippines has either 8 or 9 hours of the same day for PT depending on DST. The other thing that can happen is that that show can be recorded and delayed, just like many shows are shot on ET and then delayed 3 hours and shown at the same times as local PT time.

No idea. Not sure I understand any of this  as I've never seen what you are referencing, so I'll defer to the local residents on PI tv.
