Hi . I am currently in Thailand. Im planning my first trip to dumaguete shortly .
I have a uk visa debit and i also have funds in my Thai bank. The Thai debit card has the unionpay logo , will this work at phillipine ATM ? I have used previously in Vietnam , I also googled and it seems that Unionpay may be acceptable in all of SE Asia .
    Many Thanks . kr fullsizeoutput_236.jpeg

    I don't know.
The foreign transaction ATM fees are high here. I think it is 250 PHP (5 USD) per withdrawal with a 10,000 PHP (200 USD) limit at BDO. This is in addition to the fees charged by both banks.

I do not know if the bank ATM will accept foreign UnionPay cards. I would guess that they do. the Chinese UnionPay seems to be getting popular in SE Asia.

yup, for sure will work for you,i use my chinese unionpay all the time here
hint.....use Landbank they only charge 200 pesos per transaction (withdraw the 10,000 max per time as the fees are the same), for me the chinese bank dont charge any fees, and the exchange rate is live at the time of the transaction
