    Really.........you want to be treated at a public hospital in the Philippines? Oh and how much does the average SSI recipient get in the Philippines? Lastly, what is the minimum wage in the Philippines? Maybe only retirees should have to deal with the visa thing. That's right, they do. :wink:

    Agree. Durbin and Leahy started this dispute. Sneaky they are; attaching their amendment to a spending/budget bill that need to be passed.

    On the surface yes but when it comes to reciprocity for Americans the Philippines is like a child that takes but never gives back.

    Don't be so Filipino. You think everyone is poor and works for minimum wages or that there are no good hospitals. Lastly, ask any retiree and they will tell you that any income is good income when you are old and don't have to work for it.

    perhaps.. but the saying is "apple to oranges"... but of course this is the Philippines.. most everything else here is bassackwards.. so why not old sayings..

    I'm fine with some American politicians being banned from the Philippines. Wouldn't bother me if they expanded the list :smile:
