Is there any ATM bank machines in Dumaguete like they have now in Manila where you can get the equivalent of $1,000 us that translates into 50,000 pesos. 1 pull with 1 atm charge of p250 Using a international atm card? Thanks.
My neighbor has a BPI card issued out of the UK. He says he can draw up to 20,000 at a time. Years ago I had a card issued out of Bahrain and it could access 20,000 at some atm machines.
My BPI account says it will allow p50k withdrawal at one pull. However, the one time I tried, it would not. But it regularly gives me p40k. Different ATMs of the same bank may vary. I suggest you talk with your banker.
As far as I am aware, the most you can get out of a BPI ATM here in Dumaguete in one hit is 20,000 peso at a cost of 250 peso.
All other banks charge 250 for 10k Landbank charge 200 for 10k I will try the 40k at BPI on tuesday update to follow
I misunderstood. I get p40k when using an ATM card from my BPI dollar account. I don't use any non-BPI card at the ATM because I hate paying bank fees. If your BPI-card withdrawal limit is not satisfactory, go inside and talk to an account manager.
