what is the definition of students in this case? just people going to school and/or university ? including minors or not? babies are mostly no students ... ? people in their 30's making the driving license are students ... I find this order/advice confusing

When government officials make “simple” decrees, their simplicity raises many more questions. They prefer not to investigate the possible consequences or anticipate the possible important questions their orders might raise. It is basically feel-good on their part but very lazy.

Blind panic and confusion added to the already ill thought out directives. As usual common sense went down the gurgler..

It does reduce the chance of the elderly catching the virus. Two less hands touching things.

Students are the future of the nation, seniors are the past. Many would agree that those in between are doing a poor job.

I would imaging anyone going somewhere to be taught. Why are people so picky? Stay home unless absolutely necessary and then only go out to emergency shop or report in sick. Simple! this is serious, not a game!

It seems human nature is to exert the greater effort to say why a safety rule in NOT to be accepted than to just accept it.

Btw, if a wife goes out shopping she does not need to bring back the virus if she wears face protection, washes her hands - and, if being especially cautious, wipes over the shopping with alcohol (yes, even veg if possible - alcohol evaporates - or peel it or put it directly in the pan to cook), removes outside clothing in the shower, showers herself and puts on fresh clothing (think this is stupid? I did that when I worked in a high security VIRUS laboratory). There are many ways to protect yourselves, just think about it.

JUST IN: Provincial government information officer Bimbo Miraflor clarified on Sunday that the curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in Negros Oriental STILL STANDS, pursuant to the executive order by Gov. Roel Degamo issued last week.

Miraflor also noted that according to Degamo, the directive issued by Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Michael Dino on March 21 is not self-implementing and only includes guidelines for local chief executives to follow. #NewsBite | via Raffy Cabristante, 106.3 Yes The Best News Editor
