I'm not entirely sure why you like to take exception to my posts.
A while back I spoke about the difference between the virus being an Aerosol vs Airborne and accused me of splitting hairs. If you had bothered to look op the definition of those word you would not be ignorant on that issue.

When I made my post about the schedule being a catch22. It was intended as humour. I tried not to use any big words so that everyone could understand. Seems I failed there.

I identified my "joke" as a rumour.being poorly thought out let me give you a good example. The LTO was unable to issue plates due to problems in their own procurement procedure. The enforcement branch was issuing tickets to cars without plates. Fortunately that catch22 was short lived.

You have no idea whether or not I (personally) made it up. Make whatever assumptions you need to support your criticism.

Thanks for schooling me on the law.
Would you kindly educate me some more (I like to learn unlike some people).
Where are the vendors that are set up along the highways and roadsides going to get their ID or Company Certification of DUTY STATUS. Some of them are from up the mountain and don't have much more than a plot of dirt, a shovel and a basket for their produce.

I will certainly take the next two weeks and work on self improvement.
You intern could focus on your comprehension and critical thinking. I purposely used the word "could" as opposed to "should", It's not my place to tell you what to do. If you feel you're not up to the task youdon't have to waste your time.

If English is your second language I apologize in advance. Not understanding humour is not your fault.

    I don't know.
Dear @Show Pony, You are obviously confused. It was @Philpots that criticized your post for splitting hairs.

    Sorry about that my error.

My post was intended as a bit of humour in an attempt to lighten a serious situation. The first words in my post was: "Rumor has it:" that shouldn't need explanation.

I keep reality in perspective as not to get so involved or worked up over lack of discipline in the mass's. It's more clear to realize that around 6.5 billion people could not even quarantine a dead fly in a tupper-ware container that's crazy glued shut.

I agree that this is for information and a certain person seems to have got a bee in his bonnet about something. I stand by my comment about airborne and I am sure 99% of the readers on here would understand what was intended as the meaning behind that comment. If he wants to equate that only to something that wafts though the air on a parachute or a grain or what ever it is (spore) of pollen or what ever carried along by the wind then I contend that a droplet of cough or sneeze, (Yuk) projected through the air from someones mouth to someone else's eyes, mouth or nose was airborne during its passage. QED.

You are right I do have a bee in my bonnet. I don't like being called ignorant or a spreader of fake news.
My comments about airborne vs aerosol was not an attempt by me to split hairs. Things that are airborne are extremely dangerous. I'll give you an example.
When golden rod and other plants start to release polin people in NYC are effected. The start on antihistamines. I'm guessing there is not much golden rod in NYC. The airborne polin goes everywhere.

If the Covid19 virus was airborne quarantines would not work.

But I repeat my point. I am sure most people on here would never have ignored a warning that the virus was airborne. They would have reacted in just the way it was hoped they would react and wear a mask. And I contend that if you use the word, its an ''aerosol'' maybe they would believe it would only appear out of a tin can? (just splitting hairs)

I'm not sure that 'aerosol' is the correct term ('droplet transmission' maybe), but I'm fairly certain that the WHO and the CDC would say that 'airborne transmission' is NOT the correct term. Not in regards to COVID-19, not at this time.

*shrug* Probably best to be as accurate as possible. You might be surprised by how many people flinched when they read 'airborne'.

is this still the topic of this thread? maybe better start a new scientific one for the experts :-) ok, my 5 cent: regular transmission of the virus as an aerosol (sneezing / droplet transmission like from a spray can) BUT as nurses / hospitals confirm now; in closed rooms the virus can be airborn ...really a deadly mean little thing
