I started off non-confused but now I don't know who I am, where I am (@TheDude was ahead of me on that one!), what I am, what day of the week it is.
LOOK: Residents of Sibulan, San Jose, Bacong, Dauin, Zamboanguita and Siaton who need to enter to Dumaguete City to buy food and other essential goods from April 3-18 may secure a temporary safe pass upon arrival at a checkpoint in the city. At the 11 checkpoints around the city, quarantine pass holders must present the passes issued by their local government, along with their driver's licenses. In exchange, a safe pass will be given along with a claim stub for their driver's licenses. Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino said that residents outside Dumaguete may only enter the city at these days and times: Tuesdays, 1-6 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is in partial compliance of the quarantine pass clustering system mandated in Governor Roel Degamo's EO 26. : Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino Everywhere else it states no one can go out on a sunday but here it states we can, these people need get their act together on this stuff.
Now the bacong mayor closed the veggie market on highway for two weeks,i presume this will also mean the fish market also. This means everyone will need to go to dumaguete for food. None of this makes any sense. As long as there was some sort of structure to the market with a couple of enforcers it would work. Logic and common sense, where is it?
So I get this straight, coming from Sibulan, I need a pass, to get a pass to exchange for a pass to get into the city the same 2 days and times as everyone else who doesn't live downtown? My research tells me there are gonna be huge crowds on Tuesday and Thursday. I still thought Sunday was a no one moves day. This is all starting to seem like a 7th grade classroom experiment. I am thinking now to try not to leave my house at all for the next 14 days, there are still some chickens wandering around in the yard.
Actually this makes sense. As I said before, people from outside Dumaguete will be separated from people who reside inside Dumaguete because the Dumaguete pass holders are not allowed out of their homes on Tuesday afternoon and Sunday. "Everywhere else it states no one can go out on a sunday" Actually the Sunday restriction applied to Dumaguete City residents only. I have not seen any information from communities outside the city that did not allow people outside on Sunday. Do you have a reference you can share with us? It would be good to get the facts straight.
what's with the drivers license ''claims stub?" are they holding drivers licenses are the check points?
