Very good article - but I am not sure it is easy reading for everyone. Encouraging to read of the fast tests they are producing as that will be a giant leap forwards.
Hey @NYC Please quote your source. The below post from the DOH-7 reports on 70 swab samples that were tested. But you say that tests are not available. So @NYC do you think the DOH-7 is lying?
Wouldn’t be great if the Ayala’s or the SM Godfather’s could act like a Bill Gates and bring those key and other medical assets to the Philippines! Forbes publishes an annual 40 richest filipinos and the source of their quite significant wealth. Maybe with Duterte’s to-be-approved Monday dictatorship authority he can tap into their cashe and the Marcos “fund” and rescue this country. Suck it up multi millionaires, volunteer before he takes it away from you.
Tax them properly. Depending on voluntary grand gestures from billionaires is a shame for any country. How does the saying go? At the root of every big fortune there is a crime? As of now, there is no accredited lab for the tests in Negros. Initially they flew these samples to Manila for testing. Recently they opened labs in Cebu and Davao. sorry dont have a source thats what I read beginning of the week. I believe the inquirer had an article about difficulties getting samples to manila because of the lockdown there.
For political reasons and my respect for privacy, I won't name the source. You can discount it if you like. Makes not one whit of difference to me. But, in light of your post, I will definitely ask for clarification in light of what I was told. And what is the "@" in "@NYC"?
There have also been positive tests in Dumaguete. Collecting samples can be done anywhere. The actual testing is done in Manila, Davao and Cebu. I don't see anything wrong with what DOH-7 said. The @ in front of NYC will cause an alert to show on the upper right of the screen.
