This is a FB message shown to me by an official at a checkpoint in Valencia. Their "orders" regarding non-Dumaguete town residents in cluster 1 and when they can travel to Dumaguete. Its the most official thing I have come across. Seems like others here are saying the same, so it seems like these are probably really the rules understood at all checkpoints regarding travel to Dumaguete from towns outside belonging to the same cluster. https://justpaste.it/5re25
you can have your pass updated at the Bgy so it allows both days from 5am to 5pm, enabling you to go to Dumaguete on Thursday morning. Apparently someone noticed the zero overlap with the dgte visiting hours.
Yes you can get it updated but the dumaguete hrs are not 5am to 5pm. Its 1pm to 6pm so no point going any earlier. And the second day on pass is only for local use not duma.
yes, exactly. but still an improvement - every little bit counts but there still seems to be some confusion if it is thursday morning or afternoon - i have seen both versions already.
Is there a time limit on returning, if you go to Robinsons when they open at 10am and have to queue then you probably would not make it back before noon.
I think (guess) you can leave during the anointed hours and the return doesn't matter if you are before curfew. They did arrest two young guys in Bacong last night after curfew. They were also outside their barangay. Yesterday I went through the checkpoint between San Miguel and downtown Bacong (no laughing...) about 15 minutes before my time was going to expire. On my return to San Miguel no one stopped me.
This photo is from FB. It is supposed to be the line up at Banilad and it's 2 miles long according to the post. If you actually get a pass that will allow you into Duma. HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT TO GO THERE?
