i wasn't suggesting bypassing the checkpoints but simply using a road less traveled for shorter queues. but now that i look at google maps; if the map is accurate, it shows the duma/bacong border at the diversion rd near the diversion rd/bacong/valencia rd intersection . the map also shows that duma actually covers part of the bacong/valencia rd. if that's accurate, there should be duma check points on the bacong/valencia rd. anyone been there and done that? are there checkpoints on the bacong valencia rd? tnx...
Taking the diversion road in Bacong to the Santa Monica road extension (mayor’s street) and turning east to the national highway did bypass the Dgte checkpoint yesterday. That is the route my wife normally takes and was surprised to see no check point. I imagine they will move the checkpoint to that intersection. If not...
Did anybody make it into town yesterday? If driving, did you have to submit your Pass and your Driving License in exchange for a Town Pass?
Yes, correct and then exchange it again on the way back home, so make sure to drive the same way back.
I went to Valencia last week on that road and did not pass a Duma checkpoint. More likely they are set up on the diversion road.
No check at all today between Dauin and Bacong. Waved thru. Last week it was temperature, hand sanitizer etc. but today drove straight thru.
