Hello, Anyone tried to go swimming during this ECQ madness? I've seen people in the water, but perhaps they are fishermen. I feel it would be a tad embarrassing to get hauled off to jail in my swimming trunks, so let me know if you've heard anything about. From what I've read, there's been no confirmed transmission to fish.
Yes, you can go swimming, I live on the beach and people go swimming here, I assume you are not in quarantine. Kids playing on the beach even the need to stay home, tanods tell them to go home but in a nice way, important they live in the barangay, it's not good if you are in quarantine and leave the barangay, but that was not your question. Farmers and fishermen have permission to conduct their profession and as far as I know, the fish don't have corona lol
Yeah, sounds unlikely they'd have Corona, lol. I might give it a shot then. I'll post after or after jail, whichever...
if you would be the first human transmitting the virus to fish, there might be a penalty for that :-)
The fish may or may not have the virus, (or parasites), but it's likely found in the surf. Think about what drains into the sea. And then, the spray from waves. I read a public health researcher's detailed warning re. the beaches of Southern California.

Checkpoint on the beach here in Bacong too this afternoon, and the police visit and told the guys in the checkpoint to be strict. Same will be tomorrow, I know 100% because I store their sign so they don't need to bring it forth and back. As soon the checkpoint was abolished all back to normal, find it a little funny to watch
