#NewsBite: Effective Monday, April 20, 2020, the Dumaguete City government will implement a new color-coded quarantine pass system.

Aside from the red and purple resident's passes, green temporary safe passes will be issued to residents outside Dumaguete who wish to enter the city to buy essential goods upon entry. Non-Dumaguete residents may enter on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Yellow passes will still be in effect for employees of establishments that remain open during the enhanced community quarantine. However, it can only be used for access to and from one's workplace; it will not be honored in establishments for buying food and other essentials.

 

A step in (hopefully) the right direction in getting in a better position.

For Dumaguete City residents and visitors. Has nothing to do with whatever any other LGU is doing.

 

I'd be curious to hear if any of the stores in Duma have started asking to see a quarantine pass. As of today, with the latest system now officially in place. We haven't seen a single place (outside of the checkpoints) ask to see a pass to date.

 

The only place I experienced they ask quarantine pass is public market in Dumaguete
