GCQ does that mean we can go out again all week? I understand if your age is over 65 or under 18 years old you still need to stay home? Of course, if Negros will be under GCQ from 1.May. Sorry feel a little stupid that I don't know the rules for GCQ, pls help me with the info. Will all shops open up again?
Dgte has a strict system of manned checkpoints and Q-passes, police patrols, washing stations, enforcement personnel and the like. They may be reluctant to shut that system down right away due to the momentum; maybe be difficult to start up again if needed in the near future especially when the people running it are sent home. I suspect they will keep it running for a while and shut the process down more gradually than the province when degamo relaxes to GHQ but we will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If I understand it correctly we were under GCQ until April 3 when we went to ECQ... under GCQ over 65 were allowed out .. we just had to abide with a curfew but there may be changes such as masks and social distance and store hours etc... at least this is my hope as I have not been out in weeeeeeeks
I personally will probably be too chickens*** to go to crowded places like Hypermart anytime soon. But no checkpoints. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Article in Phil Star. https://www.philstar.com/headlines/...antine-be-implemented-moderate-low-risk-areas From the story in the link; "The following will be the “new normal” in areas placed under GCQ: Movement of people: Movement is restricted under a general quarantine but some workers are allowed to physically report for work in phases. The general population may go out of their residences to acquire basic necessities. But those with ages under 20 years old and those 60 years old and above—considered at high risk of contracting the disease—shall remain inside their homes. Local government units are allowed to enforce curfew at night for non-workers. Trade and commerce: Non-leisure stores in malls and shopping centers may partially open." I don't know if ages mentioned here are just a typo in the article. I assume Phil Star is a good source for news, I think. Or maybe I misunderstood, and it's just recommendations at this time?
For healthy expats who do not have close family here under 60, and out of an abundance of concern for your heath, take note we have lowered the age limit of the 24 hour curfew from 65 to 60 years old. If you violate the order you may be arrested and thrown in jail. Hopefully you have a can of sardines leftover from April 3 to see you through until May 15. Stay home, stay safe and don’t come complain so much. If you have any problems, please call the Barangay who is not equipped to help you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh no! I'm not complaining. I'm all set, I love sardines. BTW, the curfew doesn't bother me, food panda is just a text message away.
Good that you are a happy guy and I agree that a can of sardines can go a long way. Do you give your pin and ATM card to a stranger who is younger, to get cash for you? I know, you don’t need no d*mn ATM and have 6 weeks of cash for living at home. I assume food panda expects cash on delivery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You assume that only foreigners have ATM cards? Oh, and I also have a can of Century tuna - doesn't expire until 2022.
