    Here is a link regarding the National General Community Quarantine ordered by Pres. Duterte yesterday(?). It would be nice to see if Gov. Degamo goes along with it (or if it matters whether or not he does) since Duterte specifically named Negros Oriental as one of the provinces falling under this order. Doe Duterte's order supercede Degamo's? Or that of the Dumaguete mayor? Not sure how it works here. Not sure if anyone in authority will ever tell us one way or another.

    From the article:
    This should be a no-brainer. Obviously applies to any foreigner in the Philippines regardless of their immigration/visa status, be it permanent, work, tourism or even those staying here illegally. When you are in a foreign country you are subject to their laws.

    I won't go into the rest of the article as it has to do with a topic that already has a thread on this forum. Further discussion on this should be done in the appropriate thread.
